I am working on a simple GNOME-based project scheduler, known as "gscheduler". My original motivation was to provide a free, Linux-based replacement for Microsoft Schedule+. Then I realized that I really didn't like Schedule+, so I decided to start with something very simple and see where it takes me... Help is very welcome. If you're interested in working on this project as a coder, drop me a line at bstpierre at users.sourceforge.net. If you just want to test or use gscheduler, download it and start using it! You can submit bugs (or suggest features) when you discover them. Subscribe to the gscheduler mailing list, or visit any of the online forums.
